The best breakfast & lunch in Montclair! Atmosphere is great and the staff is very accommodating. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Try the cakes too... delicious!

Never Eat Here AGAIN!
My boyfriend and I ate here last week and it was the worst dining experience I have ever had. We were greeted by "the manager" who sat us at a dirty table with crumbs on the seats and dirty food on the table. Approximately 5 min. later our server came to the table to take our order. I had the crab benedict which was dry with barely any hollandaise on the plate and dry potatoes. He had the mini reubens which were just as dry as the potatoes...(the neveda diner has better ones, rather pathetic). The service was awful! Our server never checked to see how our food was or if we needed more coffee (my cup was completely empty for the majority of the meal). We politely asked for the check and had to wait for 15 minutes for it while our server stood by the coffee bar and talked with "the manager" and other members of the staff. My boyfriend decided to get the car and he had time to stop at starbucks and get coffee while I was still waiting for our server to finish her conversation with her co-workers. Its really disappointing because the menu looked so good online, but to be completely ignored by the waitstaff while there were only 3 other tables in the restaurant was very disappointing. Montclair has many brunch/lunch places with much better food and service.

Surprising!
Wanted to eat there for some time, but always seemed either crowded or closed. Finally, ate there yesterday, and I have to say, very good. The burger special was done right (medium, almost rare), and they serve sweet potato fries, which is awesome and not enough places do it. Lobster roll was yummy too.

They clearly care about their customers. Food is delicious, portions are good (enough for my husband who has a huge appetite) and prices are reasonable. To top it off, the service is excellent every time.
