Montclair's Absolute Best
It is a shame that there isn't more of a buzz about this restaurant. It is truly a labor of love on the part of a very gifted owner /chef who is totally creative and inventive. The top quality ingredient combinations are unique and sophisticated and the resulting dishes equal top NYC restaurants charging 3 times more. The wait staff are elegant in manners and service. The WSJ ranked it # 3 in all of Mtc., but it is # 1 in our experience.

Food very average to sub-par, and desserts were tiny. In this town- you need to be much better than average.

Escargot had NO flavor, sausage appetizer special not cooked, SOGGY salads, bernaise sauce 4 venison 2 SALTY! lamb shank GOOD! Music BAD!
