good service, good atmosphere, and i enjoyed eating the food until i got home and had food poisoning. i was the only one out of the people i was with though, so maybe it was just what i got

Post Gordon Ramsey, Excellent!
I didn't like Leone's...didn't like the wait staff, the food was unimpressive. So, despite living only a block away, I kept away. I went the other day, after the Gordon Ramsey make-over. What a difference! New wait staff, new design, new menu. Food was EXCELLENT. My boyfriend gave it a 10. I gave it a 9 b/c it did take a little while for the food to come out (and I can hear Gordon Ramsey in my head saying, "People will wait for good food!") It's now skyrocketed to the top for me!!

I come here for dinner fairly often and am never disappointed. The food is delicious, fairly priced and the service good. The atmosphere isn't much but the quality of the food makes up for it.

Basic but good!
The menu is pretty basic, not spectacular, but the food is consistently good. It's a quality neighbourhood place. One of the few with chicken savoy on the menu anymore. Reasonably priced and worth the money.

Nice place to eat in Montclair
Although admittedly the food was better when they first opened, it's still very good with large portions. I always have to take home a 'doggie bag'. The prices are very good. Still a good deal in Montclair. Have known the waitress for several years, love her and have always received great service. I don't think anyone there has 'an attitude', as some other reviewers have stated. Also I like the decor, large mirrors, high ceilings and windows.

Great for any occasion/great value
This is our go-to place for any occasion - birthdays, christenings, dinner out with friends and family, couples and young children. The food is excellent, a great value for the money, and you get tons! Plus it's BYOB.

Ok, not the best
I took a first date here and was pretty disappointed. First, the bread was stale. Considering Calandra's is right down the street and the bread is a first impression, I really would have expected better. The service reminded me of being at a diner. The food was decent, but overall, I found Leone's just a generic Italian restaurant.

they need to fire the waitress she is a complete waste of space she brought out my b/fs appitizer and my ENTREE instead of my appitizer when told she said i ordered two entrees not true another table was charged by things they hadnt ordered the place is not what id call clean and if your gonna charge for a place thst should have fine linens dont hand out paper napkins the food is good but you cant enjoy it
