Bait and switch
Beautifully decorated interior and patio. The restaurant was empty at 12 noon on a Friday, when 9 of us arrived. Upon arrival to the restaurant that has 'BEST LUNCH SPECIAL $9.95" on a banner above the door, we were told that groups over 5 people could not get the lunch special. We would have to order off the dinner menu, with basically the same offer as the lunch special but pay $19.95 PER PERSON. After the 9 of us had arrived, the restaurant was still empty. The owner continues to inform us that we cannot get the lunch special because we have 9 people. In a rude, and condescending tone he reminded us that we could order off the dinner menu which starts at $16.95. The reason we asked a few times about our options is because we were actually perplexed. Is it possible that an empty restaurant is going to refuse to give us the lunch special because we have TOO MANY people? Does he not want our business? Very confusing. We decided that the combination of false advertising and rude response from the owner was not worthy of our business so we went elsewhere. For all I know the food may be ok, but I won't find out. There are too many other good restaurants in Montclair that treat their customers with respect.

Great Meal!
We had dinner here last night. Had the mashed vegetables as an appetizer. I had the adana kebab and my girlfriend had the stuffed cabbage. The food was excellent!! Good service, very flavorful meal, great presentation. We will definitely be back. There is a patio in the back and we are looking forward to sitting out back next time!

surprising find
i ordered the shepherd's salad which had an amazing dressing on it, and the portion was huge. I got the chicken kabob for my main course and that also was huge and tasty, and had a side of rice and a side of grilled vegetables. i got the special -- which means i got all this and an amazing dessert for $19.95. and i had to take half my main course home because there was so much food.

Best Turkish Resturant In Montclair
Alttouht the place is tiny.the outdoor seating in the back prodives a delightful and uninque dininig experience when it s nice out. four season kebab house definitely knows what he s doing. his food is to die for,we bring all of our friends from out of town for a nice lunch and dinner out when they wisit.we definitely recommend this place

Obnoxious Waitress UPDATED
Walked in with my family and was told "No." Those were the exact words from the middle aged, russian waitress. "No." It was 730Pm on a saturday. I would have accepted "I am sorry sir we have a packed house it will be an hour wait" or even " reservations only tonight". Just "No." well guess what, i will not be going there anymore. Updated 2/18/11 So i said what the hey and ordered takeout. I was expeecting a Doner wrap like I have had before instead I got a bowl of extremely salty, greasy meat. The rice was in the same container and it was so saturated in orange grease I couldnt eat the right. When I say greasy I am saying about 3-4 Tablespoons worth. That being said the meat was tasty but due to the grease and salt it was hard to digest. The rice was great except I could only eat a small portion as the rest was covered in grease. Also the cashier was extremely hot and potentially i would go back if she was there!

Loved the meal! Chicken kebob was so tender and juicy. Rices were amazing. Red Lentils soup was a large portion and delicious. Definitely will be going back

Baby shower
I am a mom to be and I just had a baby shower this past Sunday. I closed down the place for my family and friends. I couldn't ask for anything better. The price, service, owner, the quality and the quantity of the food was perfect. The waitress were always on top of everything nothing was missing. I am glad a place like this opened near my house. I will definitely be back for the grand opening with my family on NOvember 7th. It is a lunch special all day ... Who can beat this price. Thank you very much FOur seasons for making my special day even more special.

My family and I are very pleased having a middle eastern restaurant in Upper Montclair. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. It is not a expensive restaurant, it fits everyone's budget . We especially wanted to sit by the kitchen window to seethe chef's work. It was amazing the way they were handling the food. Seeing the kitchen and knowing how they work made me and my family even more comfortable.definitely recommend this to all our Montclair friends and family. It is a great TUrkish restaurant. And great addition to Upper Montclair .

I was just in at Four seasons kebab house and this place is just wonderful, service, food, the atmosphere, I went in for lunch for the $9. 95 lunch special by myself than came back for dinner with the family. It was crowded, I didnt have reservation but they seemed to squeeze me and my family. The owner came to the dining area and spoke with every customer very polite. very caring. I will definetly be there for the GRAND OPENING. i DEFINETLY RECOMMEND Four Season Kebab House for everyone,..

A Must
A new gem in Upper Montclair. Food is perfectly spiced, the portions are generous. The fresh-baked bread is the best I've had in recent memory. Staff is friendly and helpful. I had takeout so can't comment on table service but I'm sure it will meet expectations. The decor is lovely. Can't wait to go back.

Good food - terrific addition to Upper Montclair!!
Just had lunch at Four Seasons Kebab. What a delightful addition to Upper Montclair! While they are still working out a few kinks with being served (just opened 3 weeks ago), the food is really good. They have a terrific lunch special with selections from 5 courses. Great value! Food is well made & fresh. Worth going to.
