I simply love this place. It's small, but the food is really good, fresh and everything is clean. The service is OK. It's busy on the weekends, so maybe they should have more staff, but in general I come back every few months for the food!

best sushi in Montclair -- hidden gem
my grandfather was Japanese & owned restaurants in NYC: I am a sushi snob. This is the only sushi I find "perfect" in town. Very small, might seem cramped t some: I love the intimacy. Staff extremely nice. But go for the superb sushi.

Its the service, consistency of food, and the owner Aki's humble presence that keeps us here. It isnt cheap but dont expect sushi to be cheap. Plus they serve booze now!
