Always worth the wait!
I go to Cuban Pete's a LOT...but recently I've embraced the art of "take out"; especially awesome if you live within walking distance. The lolli-pop chicken with a cilantro/olive oil chimichurri drizzled over it is a perfect starter. Vaca Fritas is a real treat with a large portion of shredded beef...(drool) ... grilled skirt steak is always good, but the chipotle chimichurri takes away from the flavor of the meat. Plantains are a perfect dessert after any meal...all though, if they had plain vanilla ice cream to go with it, that would become a hot seller... (if they do it, i'm taking all the credit!).... Flan is always perfect. Finally...the sangria... it all depends on the wine you bring...Asia de Cuba with a nice Riesling is perfect... any decent rioja goes well with Gloria's Apple, Tony Ortiz's, and Cuban Pete's. Check it out...but go there with a lot of patience...otherwise you might end up drinking that bottle of wine before you are seated.

Just OK
Nice decor, good service, food OK, nothing special, brought own beer & wine. Very LOUD, sat near speakers, couldn't hear my wife or the waiter, then rhythm section chimed in and it was deafening.
